CAD (Primary) is when Cold Agglutinin issues have no notable or testable secondary cause such as underlying active Lymphoma and various other triggers.
CAD (Secondary) is when Cold Agglutinin has a known testable cause such as having active Lymphoma or other various Triggers. In 2021 we have starting seeing Secondary CAD also referred to as CAS (Cold Agglutinin Syndrome)
